I loved Hosta ‘Spring Fling’ last year. Wow she was beautiful. This year though, it’s another story. The plant has virtually disappeared. It’s so small now that I put her in a pot to see if she can put on some weight with the extra protection of potting soil and TLC.
Spring Fling is a large leaved green hosta with a rippled, creamy white edge. It’s got gorgeous, painted colored leaves. SF is a cross between Hosta ‘Christmas Tree’ and Hosta ‘Donahue’s Piecrust’. I got mine from Hallson Gardens in 2006.
