September Sun
I thought he had DIED! Rotted out at the crown in 07 I was convinced he was a goner. I even wrote to Chris at Hallson Gardens to see if he had any left but he didn’t have any ready to sell. I resigned myself to losing the plant for good but lo and behold, here he comes again in 08! Thank goodness because I love this plant. Hosta ‘September Sun’ is a medium to large sized sport of H. ‘August Moon’. When it’s in good color it has a gold leaf with a bright green border.
