Paradise Joyce

Hosta ‘Paradise Joyce’ is simply beautiful!  Here she is moved slightly from 2007 so she can have some more room.   It’s a medium sized plant but is keeping up with some of my larger ones at the moment.  It’s a Halcyon sport and worth your time to find.  I have mine in hardly any sun at all and the color is amazing.  With some more sun you’ll see a lot more gold in the center of the leaf.

I purchased mine in 2006 from Direct Source Hostas.  Here’s a leaf photo taken right after planting:

Parky’s Prize

I highly recommend this plant!  Beautiful compact mound that fills in rapidly.  The leaf color is subtle early in the season but the plant’s looks never fade throughout the growing year.  This little prize is a sport of “Birchwood Parky’s Gold”.  I’m thinking I should get that plant too…
