Hosta Avocado is a big, brillant, greenish gold plant with a jewel colored green band streaking into a greenish gold field. Avocado is a sport of Guacamole. On my last site I described this plant as “juicy”. The reason I bought this plant was because I adore Guacamole and this one might turn out to be even better. I’ll let the two plants battle it out for my affections.
I got this baby in 2007 from Naylor Creek Nursery. Just after planting in ‘07:
