Hosta ‘Allegan Fog’ is a speckled hosta, my favorite kind! It’s a pretty vigorous grower and the misty speckling sticks around for most of the season for me. Allegan Fog is a Fortunei Aurea hybrid and it has a twisty, wavy leaf that will remind you of an undulatta.
Allegan Fog is a small to medium sized hosta that makes up in speckles what it lacks in size. Speckles are simply the BEST and Allegan Fog won’t let you down. The leaf is a field of misted white, green specks with a green band of a border.
I acquired this plant from Direct Source Hostas in 2006. Here it is in 2007:
