Hosta ‘Alex Summers’ is a medium to large green hosta with a gold edge. I purchased this clumping Gold Regal sport in 2006. It was a part of an order I placed after being tempted by an online coupon for $25 off. Alex Summer seemed to be a popular plant and for good reason. The fact that it was listed as holding up well in sunny locations was perfect for me.
