Hosta ‘Key Lime Pie’ is in one of my favorite spots in the garden, at the top of the pond where the water is pumped out for the stream. KLP is a sport of Squash Casserole, has brilliant, rippled and ruffly leaves that emerged bright green with a creamy white border appearing as the plant unfurls. According to others, it’s a vigorous grower and since it arrived as sort of a mop of a plant in 2007, I was really happy with the show in 2008. It also happens to be right next to my favorite plant in the garden – Hosta ‘Moonlight Sonata’.
